I graduated from Athens State University with a degree in English/Language Arts Education in 2008. This is currently my 12th year teaching in my subject area. I also have a master's degree in Special Education/Collaborative teaching for grades 6-12 from Jacksonville State University. I have coached basketball, softball, and volleyball, and I enjoy most sports. I also enjoy the outdoors, things like hiking, kayaking, etc. in my spare time. I have been married for almost 4 years, and my husband and I just welcomed a daughter last March.
