My name is Tammy Edwards. I have been teaching in Madison County Schools since 1995. I began teaching at Mt. Carmel in 2002. All of my teaching experience has been in 2nd grade. I am a graduate of Alabama A & M University. There I received a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Elementary Education. I have been married to my husband Robert for 25 years. We have 2 amazing sons, Justin and Jordan. My hobbies include singing, listening to music, and spending time with my family. I am very involved in my church. I am a youth ministry teacher, praise and worship leader, and director of the youth choir. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to touch the lives of so many children and play a role in shaping their future.
