National Elementary Honor Society
Monrovia Elementary has established a chapter of the new National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) to recognize our most outstanding 4th and 5th grade students. We are designated as a “Founding Chapter” of the National Elementary Honor Society.
The National Elementary Honor Society is more than just an honor roll. Students must have at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and demonstrate responsibility at school on a regular basis. New members will develop leadership skills that will further strengthen Monrovia Elementary and our community.
Eligible students will receive a membership application to complete and return after spring break. Once the applications are verified and reviewed, candidates and parents will be notified, and eligible students will be invited for induction into the chapter.
Meetings will be the First Wednesday of each month beginning at 7:15 a.m. in Room 209.
