Welcome to Pre-K with Mrs. Barnett and Mrs. Worley! We are so excited you are here! My name is Taylor Barnett and I am a first-year OSR Pre-K lead teacher at Mt. Carmel Elementary School. I graduated May of 2021 from the University of North Alabama with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I was even awarded the great honor of receiving the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award as well as the Keller Key at graduation! I will also be graduating with my Master's Degree in December of 2022 from UNA. Roar Lions! I was blessed to begin my teaching career at Mt. Carmel Elementary and am looking forward to the years to come. I am certified to teach Pre-K through third grade, but Pre-K is my ZONE! I love seeing how excited they get and watching their eyes light up when they learn to count, spell their name, and learn their colors. My husband, Nick, and I got married in August of 2021 and are so grateful to be a part of the Mt. Carmel community with our two dogs Arlo and Bailey.
