Ms. Amanda Bell

Amanda Culberson is in her sixth year serving at Buckhorn Middle School as an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. This is her fifteenth year in education. For her first seven years, she worked at New Hope High School as a Business Education teacher. Then she taught business at Lee High School in Huntsville City for one year.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Samford University. Mrs. Culberson returned home to Huntsville and, while working as a substitute teacher, she received her Masters of Education in Secondary Education from Alabama A&M University. After 5 years of teaching, she decided that she wanted to become an administrator and received her Master of Science in Instructional Leadership from Samford University.

Mrs. Culberson is a native of Huntsville. She has been married to her husband, Ben, for one year and has 4 stepchildren. In her free time, she enjoys going on mission trips, spending time with her family, and volunteering at church.
