Mrs. Victoria McAlman

I am elated to have the opportunity to join the Riverton Elementary Family as the new Assistant Principal. As an educator, it is my duty to ensure that all students learn to their greatest capacity, and I am ecstatic to join a school community where learning and excellence is a priority.

My most recent role in education was as an Assistant Principal within the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System in Clarksville, Tennessee. Prior to this role, I served as a third-grade Multi-Classroom Leader and a fourth-grade Reading and Social Studies educator. Since my entrance into education, I’ve earned numerous awards and recognitions, including the District Teacher of the Year in 2021.

Additionally, I earned my M.A. in Educational Leadership at Austin Peay State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. Because learning and educational excellence is of the utmost importance to me, I’ve also participated in extra-curricular programs to enhance my knowledge and capacity for education. To include, the CMCSS Aspiring Administrators Academy, Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance Fellowship and the State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE) Fellowship.

I am truly excited and grateful for the opportunity to embark upon this new journey with every member of the Riverton Elementary community. Let’s continue to Love, Learn, and Lead. Go Wolf Cubs
