I’m so excited to be a part of MCES as a second grade teacher! I earned my Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tennessee in 2011. I started my career working with Pre-K, but have spent the last 8 years teaching 6th grade Language Arts. I recently made the move to Huntsville to marry my best friend, who is a Huntsville native and a graduate of Buckhorn High School. We have a daughter who is a junior and a son who is in second grade! I love to create an engaging and fun learning environment for students with highly interactive lessons. When I’m not working, I love to go to the pool with my kids, get lost in a great book, or watch movies.
