My name is Jazzmin Mitchell. I am from Stockbridge, Georgia. I moved to Huntsville in 2010 to attend college at Alabama A&M University, where I also played for the women's soccer team, Go Bulldogs! I completed my undergraduate degree in English in 2014. I eventually went back to Alabama A&M University to complete my Master's Degree in Secondary Education, with a concentration in English/ Language Arts. This is my fifth year teaching. I have taught English for grades 7th-12th. I have also taught Debate and Literature Novels for upperclassman electives. Educating our youth is one of my biggest passions. I aim to equip students with skills to use reading, writing and language to improve their lives and to better understand their roles in society!
