It has been an absolute pleasure to work in the field of education for over 25 years.  I attended elementary school at Madison Cross Roads and graduated from Sparkman High School. My career path began in Huntsville City Schools. However, there is no place like home.  I was delighted to return to Madison County Schools to teach. I served as a third grade teacher and a reading specialist at Walnut Grove and Hazel Green Elementary for over 20 years. I am grateful to those special people in my life that pushed me to grow beyond the classroom.  I now have the blessed opportunity to touch the lives of many as the assistant principal at Endeavor Elementary School. I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Timothy Wright. We enjoy spending time together in ministry, traveling, fishing, and watching movies.

"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." - I like this quote because I truly believe every child can learn. We just must learn to teach their style. Learning matters for all children.
