Hello! My name is Allison Haithcock (everyone calls me Mrs. H.). I am a first grade teacher at Mt. Carmel.  I have been teaching in Madison County since 2009, all in kindergarten and first grade.  Every year I’m so excited at the amazing growth that happens- it is the best!  Mt. Carmel is a wonderful school where our students are the top priority! I am blessed to be here.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama in 2008.  In 2021, I received my master’s degree in Education in Reading from Arkansas State University. 

I am married to Dustin and we have two boys, Devin and Logan who also attend Mt. Carmel with me.  We like playing video games and sports together!  We also love watching movies and eating chips and dip.  I love to read and relax on the weekends.
