This is my sixth year at Mt. Carmel. Before arriving here, I spent the previous ten years teaching at Madison Cross Roads. I began my career in California where I taught for 8 years and spent an additional 9 years as a program specialist. From 2000-2005, I served as an education consultant for American families living in Central and Eastern Europe. In that role I provided support to over 100 American families living abroad to ensure that the educational needs of their children were addressed.
I have a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and English from California Baptist University. My master’s degree is in Educational Administration from California State University. I have an additional two years of course work in the area of school administration from Azusa Pacific University and California certification in cross-cultural, language acquisition and development.

On a personal note, I have a daughter in California and four grandkids. During my years as an educational consultant in Europe, I loved living in Budapest, Hungary, and I can cook a mean Hungarian Goulash!
