I graduated from Lee High School and earned a 2 year athletic scholarship for tennis.  One of my favorite jobs I had, besides teaching, was working as a deckhand on a fishing boat.  I love being on the water.  Teaching was my passion from a young age and I am beyond grateful for the opportunities it has given me.  I truly look forward to each school year and getting to know each new student.  I am recently married to my amazing husband, and we have our dog Hogan that we love dearly.

Professional Experience:  Before I became a teacher I was a substitute teacher in the Madison County School System.  My first year teaching was at Buckhorn Middle School, but I am happy to have found my home here at New Hope School.  At New Hope, I coach tennis and our Lego Robotics team.

Certifications/Awards:  I was awarded the Teacher of the Year this year by my colleagues, and that is a huge honor.  I am a Google Certified Educator.
