Hi!  I'm Ms. Ashleigh and I currently teach 6th grade at New Market School. I am also our school's TIM (Technology Integration Mentor).  I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Athens State University. Later, I earned a graduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. I have been an educator since 2006. I was the NMS Teacher of the Year in 2015.

I have two little boys, Jaxson who is 7, and Liam who will be 3 years old in September. I also have three silly dogs- a lab named Trigger, a beagle named Gracie, and a goldendoodle named Cash. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, watching baseball, eating Mexican food, shopping for antiques, and spending time with my family.
