About Me: 

Rick Schomburg is a life-long learner who proudly derives from a teacher-rich family. Both of his and his wife's (Betsy Schomburg) children are products of our Sparkman cluster. Sarah attends Calhoun in preparation for a finish at Auburn University while she works and continues to pursue her love of acting, singing, and dancing in live performances. Luke currently attends the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is arduously competing to play QB for the football team. Rick has been teaching English Language Arts to seventh-graders at Monrovia Middle School for sixteen years, has loved (almost) every minute of it, and hopes to teach there for sixteen more if fate so allows.
