Parent Committee

  • The Indian Education Program is fortunate to work with an active group of parents who have contributed much to the program over the years.   An open invitation to attend Parent Committee meetings or school culture classes exists for all parents of students within the program.  Parent Committee meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of the  months: September, November, January, March and May at the Teacher Resource Center. Occasionally dates may change due to the Grant deadlines, so please contact the Indian Education Office to confirm. Meetings begin at 8:30 A.M.

    Parent Committee Scholarships:
    Each year the Madison County Indian Education Parent committee sells T-shirts  to generate money for senior scholarships.  The parent committee has awarded approximately 100 scholarships to graduating seniors since the beginning of the program.
