A joyful heart is good medicine! Sharing your love of learning, good books and yourself with children is not only rewarding but often brings you a lot of joy! Listening to their conversations while they are playing and learning and having conversations with them throughout the day also brings about joy and laughter. The old saying that "Kids say the darndest things" is quite true.

It is also true that working with children can be challenging at times, but teaching is not just a job. Teaching is a calling that, for reasons sometimes known and for reasons sometimes unknown, creates a drive from within to give it your all to ensure that your students grow socially and academically while they are under your care.
