I enjoy being an educator because I want to make a positive difference in the lives of children. It is imperative to educate the whole child, socially and emotionally, in order for continued academic growth to occur. We must address the student's emotional and social needs, as well. Thus, by addressing these needs and planting these positive seeds, the goal is for the child to blossom and grow into a productive citizen.
