I am a graduate of Athens State University (B.S. in Elementary Education), Grand Canyon University (M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading) and Nova Southeastern University (Ed.S in Teacher Leadership and Brain-based Teaching). I began teaching in 2008 at Sparkman 9th grade school immediately after graduating from Athens State. In 2009, I began teaching kindergarten at Harvest Elementary. In 2011, I transferred to Sparkman Middle School where I taught 6th grade and coached volleyball and basketball for 5 years. In 2016, I decided to return to Harvest Elementary as a 5th grade teacher. I also taught 3rd grade for the 2017-18 school year. I am currently a 5th grade teacher.  I am a mother to my daughter Raegan.
