Ms. Becky Wilkenson
I began my career in education in 1992. After teaching in VA for four years, I returned home to AL and settled in Harvest. I continued my love for teaching until 2011, when I achieved my dream of becoming a school counselor. It is my passion and mission to assist our students academically, socially, and personally, as well as to support our families.
It's great to be back at HES! Having taught at Harvest Elementary school several years ago, I left to become a school counselor at Madison Cross Roads. After seven years of working with amazing teachers, families, and students there, I am back as your counselor here at Harvest! It is my goal to ensure students always feel they have a place and a purpose!
I have two grown children of my own who went through HES. Liam is a mechanical engineer in Huntsville, and Mary Abbott is a senior at South Alabama planning to become a physical therapist. I also recently adopted twin poodles who keep me running around as well! We all enjoy being outside, traveling, time with family, and overall just keeping life pretty simple.
