I am a graduate of both Athens State University and Sewanee. I started my career in 2004 teaching at Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama. Twelve years later, I came to Hazel Green High. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I sponsor the Echo, the HGHS yearbook. Outside of school, my interests include reading all mysteries by Tana French, binge watching the next big Netflix series, and trying to convince my two boys that books are better than YouTube and TikTok and video games.
