I have been teaching at HGHS since 2003. I am a graduate of Athens State University (2002) where I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Social Science. In addition to my teaching duties, I am the advisor for the HGHS Junior Optimist Club, a member of the National Honor Faculty Council, and the department head of the Social Science Department. Outside of school, my interests include helping on the family farm and anything that involves my two children and grandson. I am currently teaching Sociology, Government, Economics, and AP Psychology.
