I am starting my nineteenth year at HG but my twenty-eighth year of teaching. My husband and I live on a small farm in Lincoln County, TN with our herd of cats and dogs. We have two children (Reagan, a senior at MTSU) and (Elias, a sophomore at UTK). I enjoy reading and being outside or at the beach with my family. I am actively involved with my local community theatre troupe, Carriage House Players.

I have taught at HGHS since 2004, teaching both English and theatre. I am a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's degree in English, and I hold a master's degree in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University.

In addition to my teaching duties and directing and producing school shows, I am the Senior sponsor in charge of Senior Follies, senior breakfast, senior awards, and graduation.  I am actively involved in community theatre, performing with the non-profit troupe Carriage House Players.  In my spare time, I  enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, reading, and competing in KCBS competitions with my husband and children.
