Before I began teaching, I spent 16 years in the dental field as a Certified Dental Assistant and then as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I also worked for State Farm Insurance as a licensed sales assistant for 5 years. I have always wanted to teach and had the opportunity to go back to school for another degree. I graduated from Athens State University in May of 2007. I began teaching at Legacy Elementary in August of 2007. I have taught 4th and 5th grade, all subjects. My favorite subjects to teach are math and history.

I am married and have two beautiful daughters who we adopted from South America in 2013. I also have two wonderful pets, Spencer the Wonder Cat and BooBoo the Rotten Dog (because he is so spoiled!!).
