I am Bene' Yant and I am your child's Art teacher!  I have been teaching in Madison County for over 16 years and I love working with your children.

I graduated from Athens State College and Alabama A&M University where I earned degrees in Art and Art Education.

 

Being the Art teacher is so much fun because I get to know every child in the school.  I have been at Legacy since it opened, so I have seen our students advance from Kindergarten all the way through Elementary School.

 

When I am not teaching Art, my husband and I enjoy visiting historic places and spending time with our three daughters and five grandchildren.  I also enjoy learning things about American history, the Bible, and gardening.
