I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I have lived in MO, KS, MS, and AL. I am married. I have 3 sons and 4 grandkids. I graduated from college in Kansas. Then, I moved to Mississippi for 4 years. Next, I moved to Alabama, where I have been for 31 years. I have taught K-8. After moving to AL, I taught for one year at Walnut Grove. Then in 1998, I was hired at MCES for 1st grade, then moved to 6th grade (Social Studies and Science). Upon the new building being built, I moved to 4th grade. I also have taught 3rd, 2nd, and virtual (K-2) at MCES. I am currently a Math Lab Teacher, at MCES. Most of my years of teaching have been at MCES.

All 3 of my sons attended MCES and graduated from MCHS. My sons continued on to college and graduated with degrees. Steve, my husband, and I have a hobby-mini-farm. We love traveling, snow skiing, hiking, bike riding, and boating. All of my grandkids live far away. So every fall and spring break we go visit them up north.
