A native of Reform, Alabama, I am a graduate of Pickens High School. I earned a Bachelors in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education, Masters in School Counseling, Masters in School Leadership and Education Specialist in School Counseling all from the mighty University of West Alabama! I have been working in education since 2006 in the areas of teaching and counseling. I have had the opportunity to teach Pre-K, Fourth, and 5th Grades.

My family and I attend New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where I teach Sunday School and am a musician. My hobbies include reading, shopping, and traveling. 

I am married to Leviticus, and together we have 2 boys.

My personal philosophy for education is that the education of the whole child contributes to the quality of our whole world.
