I attended Hazel Green schools from grades 5th thru 9th. My sister graduated from Hazel Green High School and is also an educator in the Madison County School system. My teaching career has taken me from Alabama to South Korea to Alaska and back to Alabama. I have taught grades 1st thru 4th as well as English Language Arts for middle school. I taught English as a second language overseas. When I began with Madison County schools, I was an interventionist before returning to the classroom.
