I am married to Frank Kirsopp for 30 years. Frank served as a U.S. Army officer, worked as a manager for Bed, Bath, and Beyond for twenty years, and retired from that job to work as a tutor, substitute teacher, and is now a custodian at New Hope Elementary. We live in New Hope. We have two children that graduated from New Hope High School: Frank IV, 27 years old, who has his degree in criminal justice from UNA and is currently employed as a captain in the U.S. Army.  Hannah, 25 years old, who has her degree in communications from UAH and is currently employed by St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, gardening, and reading outside with my husband, and our dog, Max.

Experience- 24 years teaching First Grade and 1 year teaching Pre-K,  I have taught first grade in Copperas Cove, Texas for 3 years,pre-K in Montevallo for 1 year, first grade in Alabaster, Alabama for 3 years, and first grade at New Hope for 18 years
