- My name is Mrs. Leslie Stapler. I have been teaching for 6 years in the Madison County School System, and I currently teach 5th grade mathematics and social studies at New Hope Elementary School. I have also taught as a summer school teacher for Huntsville City Schools and a summer camp teacher for New Hope Elementary School. I earned my Elementary Education, BSE degree from the University of Alabama in 2013. I was honored to be named teacher of the year at New Hope Elementary School for the 2018-2019 school year. My favorite part of teaching is seeing students reach new goals! I married my husband, Blake, in 2015. We have one daughter and 2 dogs.
