Josh Moore has lived in Madison County since the summer of 2009. He is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Union High School. He received his BA in Mathematics from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where he was also a 3 year Letterman in baseball. Mr. Moore is in his 12th year teaching at Sparkman High School and his 18th year of teaching overall. He taught six years in the West Monroe/Monroe, Louisiana area.

Since being at Sparkman he has taught the following subjects; Geometry A and B, Geometry, PreAP Geometry, Algebraic Connections, Algebra II with Trig, Foundations of Engineering, and a Solid Works class. He is currently teaching Geometry and AB Calculus. Mr. Moore is married to Amy Moore who teaches 2nd grade at Madison Cross Roads.

He has three children and two step-children. He enjoys fly fishing, woodworking, and golfing.
