National Junior Honor Society
Meridianville Middle School is pleased to be a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Membership provides an opportunity to involve chapter members in significant learning experiences especially in the area of service...an area considered with high importance in the college application process.
Qualifying 7th and 8th grade students may be invited to become members of the NJHS after completion of the first semester.
Membership is a privilege bestowed by faculty and is not based solely on grades. Students must have attended Meridianville Middle School for at least one full semester.
Transfer students may be considered next school year.
Students who meet the academic qualification are then evaluated by their instructors on the four other points of the NJHS Qualities: outstanding citizenship, character, leadership, and service. These four points are equally important as scholarship.
