My name is Hayle A. Swearingen. I grew up in Huntsville and I graduated from S.R. Butler High School.  I have been an educator for 29 years. I am passionate about my career choice. I cannot imagine doing anything else.

I am a widow of 20 years. My soulmate and best friend, USMC Sgt. D. Barry Swearingen served our country during the Vietnam War. Our daughter, Kayla (Swearingen) Jonczyk, grew up in the Monrovia area. She graduated from the University of Alabama in May of 2021. She is married and she lives with her husband in Lakeland, FL.
