About Me:

I grew up just east of here in Scottsboro, Alabama and graduated from Scottsboro High School. After graduating high school, I attended UNA to get a degree in secondary math education. After graduating from UNA, I got a job teaching high school math in south Alabama. I taught Algebra 1, Algebraic Connections, Algebra 2 and Algebra with Finance for 5.5 years and coached jv and competition cheerleading. I moved back to north Alabama to be closer to my family and switched to teaching at the middle school level. I teach 7^th grade, coached the non-competition cheerleading team in the fall, and will be coaching the competition cheer team next year! Go hawks!

Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelor’s of Secondary Math Education from the University of North Alabama and Master’s in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama.
