After living in Boston, Massachusetts for thirteen years, I moved back to the Huntsville, Alabama area in 2002. While in Boston, I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and worked as a supervisor of an outreach program for the mentally ill, as well as doing private practice.

In 2005, I began my career as a guidance counselor in the Madison County School System. Prior to that, I worked at the Community Action Partnership as a supervisor helping low-income families secure rent and utilities. Coming from an extended family of electricians, I feel very connected to the students who take our programs here at the Madison County Career Technical Center and am honored to help guide them through their high school career.
