Welcome to Endeavor Elementary School! I am Jenny McAlister, the Principal, and I am excited to serve the Endeavor community. I began at Endeavor in Aug. 2011 as the assistant principal and became the principal in Feb. 2019. I grew up across the river, in Decatur, AL, and have spent more than thirty years working in the field of education in Mobile County, Macon County, and in the Auburn/Opelika area before coming back to North Alabama to work in Madison County. I have taught both general and special education in grades 3-11 and worked as a resource specialist for special education. I love learning and seeing our children learn each day.

Endeavor students practice the Big 3! Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Responsible. We practice these big 3 expectations when we in our classrooms, the hallways, restrooms, on the bus, and in the cafeteria. We are learning to be effective communicators, independent thinkers, and future leaders.

We welcome parents and our community to visit our school, have lunch with us, or participate with us in school events. We would love to show you what we are learning! We also appreciate feedback from our parents and offer coffee with the principal sessions monthly to give parents an opportunity to informally meet and share needs or ask questions. We are excited about this school year and cannot wait to help each and every student of Endeavor build a foundation of success.
