Sparkman Middle School is located in Toney, Alabama and is a part of the Madison County School System. We have approximately 830 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Our feeder elementary schools are Madison Cross Roads Elementary and Harvest Elementary Schools. We feed into Sparkman 9 and Sparkman High School. Our school mascot is the cougar; our colors are royal blue, black, and white. We believe in high levels of learning for ALL students. We work to meet our students' academic and social-emotional needs because we strive to educate the whole child.

SMS is led by our principal, Ms. Kristen Bell, and our assistant principals, Mrs. Machiah Fuqua, Mrs. Amanda Jackson, and Mr. Jared Paschall. We know that #CougarsClimbHigher and we are #TheSparkmanStandard.

Sparkman Middle School is a Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School of Excellence, a CLAS School of Distinction, and a SolutionTree Model PLC School.
