John Talley grew up in Eastaboga, AL & graduated from Lincoln High School in 2009. He played football, baseball, & ran track for the Golden Bears. After spending a few semesters in college, he decided to join the military in 2011. He went on to serve 4 years Active Duty in the US Navy and completed 2 deployments to the Middle East & Mediterranean regions. While stationed in Norfolk, VA,

Mr. Talley returned to school at Old Dominion University - graduating with a bachelor's degree in biology. After finishing school, the Talleys moved back to Alabama where he started teaching 8th grade science at Priceville Junior High School in 2019. Mr. Talley was also an assistant coach for the junior high and varsity football teams during his time in Priceville. John Met his wife Kat - also a Navy vet, while they were both stationed in Virginia. They have two boys, Milo & Everett, ages 10 & 3.
