My name is Amy Willis and I am the Librarian at Mt. Carmel Elementary. I have been at Mt. Carmel since 2019 and in the Madison County School System since 2016. I served as the librarian at Monrovia Elementary for 5 years. Before that, I taught 3rd & 4th grade at Monrovia for over 10 years. I made the move to Mt. Carmel last year to be closer to home and am so excited to now work in my home community.

My husband teaches and coaches football and basketball at Buckhorn. My daughter attends Buckhorn and is a member of the Varsity Cheer Team. I graduated from Athens State University in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I then attended the University of West Alabama and graduated with my Master's in Education (2009) and Education Specialist (2014) degress in Library Media Science.
