Third Grade

I graduated from Sparkman High School in 2005. I attended college at Calhoun Community College, then went on to Athens State University where I earned a B.A. in Elementary Education. In 2011, I began my teaching career in Charlotte Mecklenburg, North Carolina. Since 2011, I've taught kindergarten, first, third, fourth, fifth, and special education. My favorite is third grade. I also continued my education, earning an M.S. in Special Education.

I have a seven-year-old daughter, Samantha, who is my world. She and I have a spunky 8-month-old mini–Golden Doodle who keeps us on our toes. We enjoy golfing, swimming, being outside in the fall, and lots of cuddles on the weekend.
