Hello, I am Mr. Shimizu. I am a 6th grade math teacher and soccer coach for the girls team. I graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in December 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in secondary education. I speak Japanese as my first language. I was born in Japan and moved to the U.S. for 4 years when I was in second grade. I came back to the U.S. when I was a junior in high school. I have been here since then.

My parents, younger brother, and a cat live in Japan. I love Japan's culture and food. Every day is a challenge for me, and there is something to learn. I like to see students getting better, and my goal is to help them to the best of my abilities.
