Coach Sam Tidmore is an Alabama native from the Lake City of Guntersville. Coach Tidmore has multiple college degrees, including an Associate in Science from Snead State University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Jacksonville State University. Coach Tidmore graduated with honors from both universities that he attended, and was recognized as the Most Outstanding intern of his graduating class at JSU.

Coach Tidmore has been a nominee for Coach of the Year in the State of Alabama, and he hopes to guide the Sparkman Girls Soccer program to many successful seasons in the future. Tidmore decided to become a teacher and a coach in hopes of inspiring and helping young people accomplish their goals and realize their dreams.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending his days with his wife Bethany and their dog Murphy, attending church, playing golf on the weekends, and going fishing with his dad.
