Hello everyone! My name is Emily Floyd and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I have been teaching since 2016. I have taught first and second grade as well as a Kindergarten through 3rd grade self-contained special education class. I graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a BA in Elementary Education and a Masters in Differentiated Instruction with a concentration on Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have a passion for teaching and helping my students along in their education journey. I strive to make fun, engaging, and lessons that help my students reach their full potential intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically while incorporating inclusion. I am excited to watch all of my kiddos grow! I am truly blessed to be a part of the Mt. Carmel family and I look forward to an amazing year!
