I’m so excited to be joining MCES as a 6th grade math and science teacher! I earned my Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tennessee in 2011. I started my career working with Pre-K, but have spent the last 7 years teaching 6th grade ELA in Tennessee. I recently made the move to Huntsville to marry my best friend, who is a Huntsville native and graduate Buckhorn High School. We have a daughter who is a sophomore and a son is in first grade! I love to create an engaging and fun learning environment for students with highly interactive lessons. I’m looking forward to exploring math and science with some amazing 6th graders! When I’m not working, I love to go to the pool with my kids, get lost in a great book, or watch movies.
