Nancy Gattis

Mrs. Gattis graduated high school in 2008 from Scottsboro, AL where she participated in cheer, dance, and SGA. After high school, Mrs. Gattis attended The University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in English in 2011. Wanting to continue her education, Mrs. Gattis earned a Master of Arts in history with a secondary education certification from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Throughout her career as an educator, Mrs. Gattis has taught secondary social studies and English courses and has coached cheerleading and dance teams.

Mrs. Gattis currently lives in her hometown of Scottsboro with her husband John and their dog Gus (a cockapoo). In her free time, Mrs. Gattis enjoys reading thriller and mystery novels, binge watching a good series, or listening to true crime podcasts. Mrs. Gattis is also fond of interior design and working on home improvement projects with her husband. Nothing is more enjoyable to Mrs. Gattis than spending quality time with her family and friends.
