I am a reading intervention teacher. I am looking forward to providing extra support to our students this school year! Working with students to develop proficient reading skills, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, is the best part of my job. I love working with teachers and students to help encourage and support academic growth. When I am not at school, I enjoy reading mysteries, volunteering at Cattyshack, Inc. and quiet mornings with my husband and three rescue cats.
