Hi! My name is Elizabeth Young and I am so happy to be your child’s teacher this year! 

 

I am originally from Murfreesboro, TN, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (2001) and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (2010) from Middle Tennessee State University. I moved here in 2011 after marrying my husband, Byron. After our kids were born, I made the switch  to being a stay at home mom to our kids, Adelyn and Alex. It was an amazing career change, but I am excited to be back in the classroom! 

 

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with our dog, Kayla, and crafting.
