Career Experience: 7th grade Reading Enrichment & 8th grade ELA at Sparkman Middle School, Meridianville Middle School

I am the behavior interventionist for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. This is my first year at Meridianville Middle & I am excited for the year ahead. I grew up in Toney, AL & attended Sparkman High School. I enjoy writing, local history, music, & opportunities to be creative. I am married to James, my high school sweetheart, and we have a teenage son named Levi. We live in Hazel Green with our dog, Snoopy, and two cats, Pickles & Idgie. When I work with students, I always keep in mind this quote from Jim Henson: “My hope still is to leave the world a bit better than when I got here.”
