ALL schools in the Madison County School System have been approved for a USDA waiver allowing us to provide breakfast and lunch meals for virtual, remote, and traditional learners at no cost to families.
We are approved for the 2020-2021 year. Please continue to complete and submit applications for free and reduced meals as usual so correct statuses will be in place when the waiver ends.
-- This applies to ALL students(full price, reduced, and free) under 18 years old
-- Meals may be picked up at any MCSS school.
-- If you have children in multiple schools, you may pick up all meals at one school. You do not have to travel to each school.

The current COVID-19 data indicates that our schools need to transition to Level 2, Hybrid Instruction, beginning Thursday, December 3, 2020, through Friday, December 18, 2020.
- Level TWO means the system will move from In-person instruction to a HYBRID schedule.
- In Hybrid Instruction, students are divided into two groups beginning Thursday, December 3rd.

Social Distancing and Face Masks are required on all MCSS campuses.
- Buses will run their regular schedules.
- Schools will provide information regarding meal pick-up times on days when students are remote learners.
Schools that are already remote will remain remote until the specified date of return. Those schools that are remote will transition to hybrid when they return.

Please complete this form by Monday, December 7, 2020 for each student that you are requesting to be remote for the Spring 2021 semester. By filling this form out, you are agreeing for your student(s) to stay remote for the entire semester from January 18, 2021 until May 28, 2021. Your student will not be able to return to face to face instruction due to scheduling conflicts.
